As we are in the midst of the Twelve Days of Christmas and in the waning hours of 2008, I thought I’d review my year through the first post of each month:

January: A nine point Ninth Day of Christmas post, in which I discuss new boots, my Bind-it-All (which one year later, I still love), and the Mousethief annual New Year’s Party, which we look forward to attending tomorrow.

February: We say goodbye to Dawn Mary – hopefully she’ll travel here soon, I miss seeing her.

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb

April: We celebrated our anniversary, I tried out for Jeopardy, saw MacBeth, and watched the opening of Baseball season all in one weekend.

May: Oh Squeal, I saw Duran Duran (the first of the month is lovely for neat memories)

June: A discussion about movies who are better than their source book. And recently having seen (and re-read) Prince Caspian, I do agree with Kh. Frederica about that one.

July: The Xman was on the Baseball AllStars and Father Thomas sent an excellent quote from St. Nil.

August:It’s blueberry season

September: I read Brideshead Revisted (I still haven’t seen the PBS adaptation though)

October: The Xman made the river of his life

November: The Xman was a banana, our last Summer CSA was delivered, and I was revealed as a Beatles Loving man

December: I discover I’m Katharine Hepburn.

Happy New Year to everyone, thank you for being along for the ride on my Blog, I appreciate you, and my best wishes for a peaceful and healthy 2009 filled with good books, good friends, and good times.
