The “Year You Turned 18 Music Meme”

Go to popculturemadness.com and select the year you turned 18. Paste the list of the top 75 songs. Bold the ones you liked; strike the ones you disliked; and italicize the ones you know but don’t exactly like or dislike. The ones you don’t know will stay plain text.

I got this from Laura, and the Philippa showed me thow to strike through, so that’s a great help. I’m realizing that after I graduated, I wasn’t paying much attention to music, as a lot of these aren’t familiar. You know, Eddie and I had just moved in together and Cedric was on the way and I guess we were worried about other things.

For those of you who are keeping track, we have had a windstorm, snow, another windstorm, and floods. And, we aren’t even to winter yet. Yikes. Our power went out on Thursday evening, and didn't come back on until yesterday (Sunday) morning.

Thankfully, we have Natural Gas so we could shower, cook on the stovetop, and huddle around our gas log fireplace. I giggle because when it’s dark outside and you are sitting in the dark, you find yourself saying things like, “It’s 7:30, I think I’ll turn in”.

I also had the pleasure of seeing my Goddaughter’s husband tonsured a reader yesterday at St. Spiridon’s church in Seattle by the Bishop , and then having coffee with Lizzie It was a good day.

So, stay safe and warm whatever the weather is in your neck of the woods. And, thankfully, I see The Office
will be re-run this week, as our power went out before the show started. Whew.
