Jane Eyre - What a difference a day makes. Now that I've read about Jane's ill-fated wedding day, this entire book makes a lot more sense. See aren't I glad I didn't put the book down on Tuesday and miss it. Now it is rolling along jolly nicely and all the weird things have been explained - no confusion here. Today I learned two new words from Jane cipher and inexorable . Now, wouldn't the song have sounded better "Reading, and Writing and Ciphering?"

I just got this great idea to have a blog about the books I'm currently reading and my reactions to them. Thanks to Heather for the idea.

Right now, I'm working on Jane Eyre, and I must admit, that parts of it are a bit confusing - maybe I'm not reading it closely enough. I've just gotten to her wedding day to Mr. Rochester, so we'll see how it goes from here. This is part of my Lenten journey this year, Father recommended picking up a classic novel, and I think this is something I will do each year.
