A new Read-Along is starting!
Thank you to Father John for the shout-out about my blog.
I wanted to announce that I will be hosting a read-along of "Persuasion" by Jane Austen starting on Monday, February 27th. I will run in concurrently here and on Facebook. The questions will be the same in both places, but I realize that the conversation will probably ebb and flow differently each place. If you are not my Facebook friend, but would like to be, please let me know. I would extend the offer to participate here, there, or everywhere.

If we could be friends on Fbook that would be nice. I'm terrible at deciphering Miss Austen's pages, and thus I feel dim; maybe this time will be different?

I just downloaded the complete works of Jane Austin to my Kindle Fire! (Along with full collections of Mark Twain and H.G. Wells.) I'm looking forward to it!
(I do know how to spell Ms. Austen's name properly...but since I have a grandson named Austin my fingers just seem to fly to the "i" out of force of habit!)
Yay, another Mimi readalong! I haven't read this one and am looking forward to a new-to-me Austen novel :)
