I spent last night all sticky. Not because I was making taffy, but because I was mounting unmounted stamps from Stampsmith. I got my first order from them – the Blessed Are and Royalty sets (can’t pass up having a stamp of Katharine of Aragon and Anne Boelyn) and am totally ready for more. Not only did they come quickly but they came with extras too! Very cool. So, go support Estelle!

So, now I have these great stamps – the Blessed Are will be used when I stamp with Dawn next month, and I’ll figure out a way to use the royalty ones.

Send me any cool stamping projects you’ve seen – particularly Christmas ornaments. And, if you are of the Catholic variety and would like the Guadalupe, and the Blessed Mary stamps directly above and to the right of the Guadalupe on the page, email me and I’ll send them to you so you can get sticky too!

Enjoy creating!

Pardon the Vanity Post

I want to change my avatar photo, and I don't know how to do it without posting it into my blog, so here it is.

Taken a couple of Saturdays ago at the Aberdeen Ballfield in their covered bleachers. The game was rained out. Those of you of a similar age as me will know who Aberdeen's most famous resident was.

Notice anything?

These two photos were taken about an hour and a half apart this morning - do you see the difference?

Yep - the braces are off! Xavier's comment, "My teeth feel fat". Fat? I guess they just feel very exposed.

The orthodontist was so cool, if you see in the second photo, they gave him a bouquet of balloons and a baggie full of all those things he's had to eschew while he's had them on - Starburst, Skittles, bubble gum, popcorn (popcorn? he's certainly eaten his share since he's had the braces on. Oops). Isn't that cool!

Join us in our celebration tonight! Bubble gum will be served.
