A Woman’s Daybook for April 16, 2010

Outside my window...we have had an early spring (so appropriate for such an early Pascha) and today has been one of the warm days. I love spring when it is warm, then cold, then rainy, then brilliantly sunny.

I am thinking...about the Mariners, but I am not going to offer an opinion.

From the learning rooms…X is thinking of taking an automotive repair class this summer.

From the kitchen...pasta with pesto for dinner

I am wearing...a t-shirt and a pair of sweats

I am creating...I just finished a spring themed ATC card for a swap the lovely Kristina is hosting. I am excited to be scrapbooking tomorrow.

I am reading...I’ve been on a “books other people have loaned me” kick, just finishing “My Life in France” and “Life of Pi”  that were suggested by and loaned to me by friends (thank you). Last night I finished an odd little book of chapters that were originally short stories and that were not quite cohesive, and changed perspective a bit “Flower Children” and started “Fatherland”  I am in a Historical Fiction reading challenge, and it is my “alternate history” entry. It’s not a genre I’ve read much of, and so far I’m enjoying it.

I am hoping…that tomorrow is not rainy and cold.

I am hearing...I’ve been loving Train’s new song.

Around the house...I need to organize the pantry, and clean off and organize the top of the bookshelf in the loft. I like having things clean and organized, but I don’t like actually doing the project.

One of my favorite things...stealing Pascha candy from the kids’ baskets.

A few plans for the rest of the week…The X-man has a game tomorrow and then I’m scrapbooking. Sunday, church and my April canning challenge canning.

A Photo Thought I am Sharing….The X-man and I before we left for Pascha! Christ is Risen!
