Lizz Tagged Me
I kind of like this one because it makes me think about years past.

Lizz (libis)
Mimi
Then you get to select five people to pass the love on to:
I'm actually not going to tag five people, just two. If you want to participate, feel free to, let me know in the comments.
I'm tagging
Stephanie
Aaron (so he doesnt' have to tag himself. Although reading it, it's kind of a girly quiz, so change the questions as needed)
Here are the questions.
What were you doing 10 years ago? 1996 was an incredibly busy and lifechanging year for me. I had a baby, graduated college, became Orthodox and bought our first home. However, in January, I was six months pregnant and had just started my second semester of Russian, a film class and statistics.
What were you doing 1 year ago? Not much has changed in the past year. Last year at this time, I was six weeks from seeing Duran Duran, two months from seeing U2, and about five weeks from meeting my friends in Seattle, which was a great trip.
Five snacks you enjoy (in no particular order, as all snacks are created equal)
Well, I'm trying to not eat too many snacks, but
- candy (pure sugar, baby)
- pretzels
- raisins and walnuts
- blueberries
- cotton candy
Five songs to which you KNOW all the lyrics
Many more than five, trust me
"Oh, Gladsome Light"
Pretty much the entire Divine Liturgy
"Maybe, I'm Amazed" by Sir Paul
"The Reflex" by Duran Duran
"Epistle to Dippy" by Donovan
Five things you would do if you were a millionaire
Pay off my debt
Travel
Stay home with the kids
Fund the charitable giving I want to do
Buy a treadmill
Five bad habits
I can be a spendthrift
I can be judgemental
I bite my nails instead of clipping them
I can be lazy
Snapping at the kids
Five things you like doing
Reading
Hanging out with the family
Scrapbooking
Listening to music
Talking to Eddie
Five things you would never wear, buy, or get again
Blue eye shadow
bell bottoms
meat
Chicken Pox
A Michael Jackson album
Five favorite toys
Ink pads
MP3 player in the car
Acryllic paint
Coffee maker
Digital camera
First time you got kissed: It seems I was a freshman in high school at an after game dance.
First time you drove a car: My way cool parents taught me to drive so I could drive up and down our really long hill after school, so I was about 14?
First time you scrapbooked: 1999 - I had a long weekend to myself, I walked over to the local scrapbook store and picked up some pretty papers. My first page was pretty good (for the time), then I got introduced to CM style, and I struggled to get back on an even footing ;)
First time you went on a date: Probably the Winter Ball in my freshman year of High School with the above guy
First time you fell in love: How did you know? Not with the above guy ;) I'd say freshman year - he was tall, blonde and oh so cute.
First time you cooked for someone: I think I made dinner for the family now and then when I was about 8-9 (I remember making quiche)
First time you got on a plane: As a young kid, we lived in Denver
First time you shaved your legs: Ouch.
First time you put on make up: Looking back how did you do? Did you look good or like a clown? Well, it was the 80s? Blue Eyeshadow and colored mousse.
First time you moved out of your home: Was it an apartment, house, etc? I moved into Eddie's parents basement when I was nearly 18.

This is OT, but I'm going to be at HR tomorrow morning - I'll look for you!
How fun!! I enjoyed reading this but have to say that "Epistle to Dippy" made me laugh. (OK, count me weird, but I have just about all of Donovan's albums)
