The Baby Steps are working!
Thank you to everyone who has asked how my exercising has been going. So far, so good. I’ve definitely gotten into the groove of doing it, and while “enjoy” isn’t quite the word I’d use, I’ve gotten some good reading done, bought pretty new walking shoes (the old ones had holes in them), been waved at by a gaggle of exchange students, learned I *can* do 3.5 miles an hour, and best of all – I have lost 7 pounds. And zipped up a skirt I’ve not zipped for a while.
I couldn’t have done it without some online encouragement (thanks, guys!). Especially without Alana’s help – she kindly figured out what my target caloric intake should be. It’s become a game to enter my foods into Fitday and I’ve been on track for over a week now!
So, I’m hoping I’m on my way to making a habit. A habit to choose smaller portions, healthier foods and exercise more. I hear it will help keep me mentally fit as well.

Way to go Mimi!! You are doing way better than I am, didn't answer the phone yesterday because I didn't want to go up and down the stairs....can you say l-a-z-y!!
