A True English Nerd
Since I'm working mostly on not getting the flu that has hit everyone else in my house and cleaning for my House Blessing on Sunday, I'm not feeling too wordy right now. But, I found this lovely quiz from a Blog I happened on (linking from a link, you know?)
True English Nerd You scored 81 erudition! |
Not only do you know your subjects from your objects and your definite from your indefinite articles, but you've got quite a handle on the literature and the history of the language as well. Huzzah, and well done! The English snobs of Boston salute you. |

Hey, me too!!! Exact same score. It was kind of a weird test.
Oh, dear. I scored a 92, and higher than 99%. But then -- I cheated. I was born in 1946, so went to school when you actually got an education in high school, and a college education meant you had read the classics in their original languages (Latin and Greek). And Lit classes were *real* Lit classes, not an excuse to bash men.
Hmmm, not my best day. I am a True English Nerd, but I scored 76%. Close, mimi, but no cigar. Guess I was absent that day . . .
I got a 73. I ain't so smart. :)
I'll let you know after I take the test, but for now I'll just giggle and point...you're a nerd. :) I never got to do that in high school.
Librarian as well.
65...Thank goodness I still have some good brain cells!
sounds like a fun quiz! i'll have to give it a shot!
(i have a new blog btw... i switched over to blogger.)
Congrats! ;)
Coconut milk is great but I have only used it in soups thus far...any other ideas?
Very cool all the experiences - and as I've pointed out - it happens to be one of my favorite subjects. It would not be as high of a score if the question was "What High School Biology Nerd Are You"
Thanks Dawn for the giggling and pointing ;)
Harmonia - I've never tried coconut milk in anything, except maybe Hawaiian food.
