It’s all fun and games until someone looses an eyelet. I’ve never been tempted by Scrapbooking T-shirts before, but this one I almost bought. I spent the past weekend at the CKC in Seattle and had a great time. I had the two best roommates ever (excepting my mom when she comes with me), had lunch with family members, took some great classes (and I’m now hooked on Scenic Route
paper, Sarah), and worked for a bit in Karen’s
booth – which was great fun and I got to visit with her and her gang.
I am buzzing with exciting ideas to implement on my pages. I may even learn to set eyelets.

Mimi,
I made a scrapbook for my daughters 16th birthday last week....I WISH i had posted pictures before I decided to quit bloggin - well, I say I'm quitting, but Iv'e taken the advice of a couple of buddies and have self imposed a ban from posting for a whole month instead - to be reviewed then to see if I can live without it permanently!
I really enjoyed the scrapbooking, and yes it really is addictive, except that I was absolutely shattered at the end of it all because I had to work on it when Amy was in bed so I was often working till past midnight on it night after night :-)
Whatever did people do before crafting took off....
NOW you're hooked on Scenic Route??!!! OMG...it is the greatest paper evah! Love it like no other.
You are so so lucky, sounds like an awesome time all around!
I haven't done any scrapbooking since the baby was born (surprise, surprise). I would LOVE to get back into it!
sounds like you had a really wonderful time. Enjoy your new toys!
I had NO idea you were headed to CKC!! I've been to 2 and had a blast...stopped going when they started the album format
I've had several classes with Karen...I ADORE her work and her approach to teaching.
Details girl! what other classes did you take???
Ooh, I'm envious! Can't wait to see some of your new techniques--you WILL share, won't you??? ;)
Glad you got to have some fun and relaxation!
