They’re good, but not good for you – so said the sweet Philippa’s mom in my note yesterday that arrived with a package of the Philadelphia delicacy, Tastykakes. As on Philippa’s Food Meme, she mentioned them, and I mentioned that I’d never seen or had them. That has now been rectified by this sweet package, and the entire family enjoyed! Thanks Philippa’s mom! You rock! Yum!
(I’m realizing clearly I need to move to Pennsylvania, they also are where Peeps are made)

I'd be happy if you moved to the Philly area (hint hint). And PA is also where Utz pretzels are made. YUM. And Hershey chocolate. How can you go wrong?

Spazz girl - there is absolutely NO comparison in taste of a Hostess Twinkie and Tastykake. Tastykakes RULE!
Sadly, I can eat them no longer! They have soy and peanuts in them. But Lord have mercy...they are good!
