I liked this Food Meme that Xenia Katie has on her blog, so I thought I’d play along. Take the letters of your name and add a food-related factoid for each one.

M – Marshmallow Peeps. Here’s my biggest food confession – my absolute, favorite, top spot food are these sugar upon sugar confections. I have to admit, though, while I will gladly eat ones that are given to me year round, I’m quite the Peep purist, and prefer to only have them at Pascha time. And, this year, I learned that Ced doesn’t like them, so I got two packages. Xavy, however, is like me and inhales them.

I – Ice Cream. It’s nice. It’s not my favorite dessert, but I won’t pass it up. I’m not a fan of chocolate flavored items, so chocolate ice cream isn’t my cup of tea. My favorite is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, though.

M – Mushrooms. Eh, I don’t eat fungus. But, we are growing quite the crop this year, I think it’s because it was a cool summer and now we’ve gotten a lot of rain.

I – It’s hard to come up with a second “I” food, but I decided on Iceberg Lettuce. Growing up, it was all I ever ate, and it was ok. But now that I have so many choices, I love a good salad and yummy greens.
