Things I like about the new Blogger:
1 - Seeing exactly where the photo will be.
2 - The ease of putting in links.
3 - The neat preview thing that Simone
has, but I haven't tried to put it on my Blog yet.
Things I don't like about the new Blogger:
1 - Half the time, it takes me ten trys to log in while commenting ,and I lose my comment.
2 - Parts of my posts disappear and links go odd places
3 - No matter how many returns between lines I put in, it scrunches up all my lines.
I'm still not convinced - any tricks I'm missing?

I don't blog here but I do have an account and I also have log in issues for comments. Its very frustrating. It really wants me to use the new blogger (which seems to be connected to Google), but I like the old.
Good luck finding solutions. I'm still dealing with upgrade issues at my blogging site - and its been almost 3.5 months!
Did you switch to beta thingy?? There is some other switch I need to make but it is way to scary, I'm afraid I will lose what I got.
No, I never went through the Beta step, I resisted until I couldn't resist anymore.
Unrelated: What does "Bigger than a Breadbox" mean?
I don't sign in in comments, I just sign in right away when I go to the blog.
I'm too afraid to do the switchover--better the devil you know, etc...
THANK YOU for putting things in perspective and reminding that there ARE some positives about the New Blogger. I hated being forced into the change and have been seriously considering bailing out all together. Your words remind me that like most things in life, there are both pluses and minuses. I need to remember that about a lot about many things.
My only problem with the new Blogger is that it takes me as many as five tries to post a Blog because after I am done composing the blog and then hitting post, it does not post the way I composed it. Pictures are not where they should be and often the type size, style and color are not what the way I posted.
This gets very annoying and sometimes I feel like just giving up.
Father, bless, Yes, I keep having that problem.
Angela - that makes sense, maybe I should do that first before going to my Bloglines account. Brilliant.
Stacy - I answered your question.
Janelle - I resisted as long as I could, only switching when it wouldn't let me post without switching. Have you been able to avoid that so far?
I deal with the line thing by putting periods where I want the line to be, and then I just color the periods the color of my template.
I was already doubtful about changing over, but I think I'm convinced not to now. Thanks Mimi!
:-)
