Memory Eternal Today is the second anniversary of the death of my grandmother, Margaret. May her Memory be Eternal.

Such a cutie when she was in her teenage years, this is a photo of her and my grandfather (who predeceased her by about four years) the summer they started dating. I see her in my face, especially in my eyebrows and my smile, and those apple cheeks. Sometimes I can't believe that she's gone, sometimes she feel so close to me, and other times, it seems like it's been forever since I saw her.

She wasn't always happy in life; I pray that she is at peace.

With Love!

Memory Eternal !
Mimi, you look so much like her !!

My eldest daughter is the image of her paternal grandma, not at all like me or her father in looks....
Funny things, those genes :-)

Thanks, sweetie, for your awareness of Mom. I tend to focus on her in the last years, and forget the young woman and mother. May you continue to resemble her with all of her best qualities. Hugs to you!

Hi, Phillipa! I do indeed! Mimi is shining proof that in spite of our best efforts, our children will turn out to be terrific adults. And thank you!
