Desert Island Discs Teneeka's challenge is to list your ten desert island discs - as the the radio station I listen to calls them - the discs you'd listen to forever. I wrote this list a few weeks ago on a board I participate in, so I'll copy them here.

1. McCartney - Paul McCartney
2. War - U2
3. Abbey Road - The Beatles
4. The Beatles (the White Album) - The Beatles
5. The Very Best of Elvis Costello - Elvis Costello
6. Heart Shaped World - Chris Isaak
7. Waiting for the Sun - The Doors
8. Duran Duran (the first album) - Duran Duran
9. The Best of David Bowie (the two volume set) - David Bowie
10. Joshua Tree - U2

Abbey Road was my second-draft choice for the Beatles slot on the top ten list! There's something so...unique about that album.

Do you have Baja Sessions by Chris Isaak? That was another almost-made-it on my list!

Oh yes, Janelle - I do have most of Chris' stuff - LOVE him! But, Wicked Game is just about my favorite song, so that album won out!

Abbey Road is one of those I didn't listen to a lot when I was younger, but the second side is just incredible!

What an awesome road trip, with the sounds of Abbey Road, Nancy!

All great choices but if it were me, I'd probably leave the Elvis Costello one at home! LOL

I like U2, The Beatles, The Door, Duran Duran, David Bowie. No wonder we get along, so well, we have similiar taste in music! I am really digging the book you sent me, thank you so much, it is a big deal, the heart, and it is very important in my life, and in those lives I touch with my own.
