I'm Home! Boy, flying out of Sacramento where it's hot, hot, hot into the Portland weather of cool, breezy and threatening rain was sure a pleasure!
I had a whirlwind trip - flew in Saturday afternoon, Reunion that night, Sunday breakfast with friends and family, shopping in Jackson with my sister, mom, and nephew, Sunday dinner/early birthday party for me, and fly out on Monday morning at 9:30.
The Reunion was a lot of fun, what was interesting was a lot of people that were there were people I'd not seen before, and a lot of those who I'd seen five years ago weren't there. Our table was a good group of friends, and in a scary moment, we realized everyone at the table had graduated from our High School - not the same class, but still... Eddie decided to not come, and I was worried about some "chipping of teeth" about that, but in fact, everyone asked after him and realized he just didn't make it (see what happens when I get out of my own way?).

And

J was one of our table mates, and one who I was good friends with in High School and have not seen since I moved to Washington. It was really great to talk to him and his wife. The other person is my best friend K who went to the reunion with me, and is the one who saw U2 on her birthday in Dublin!
I know several of you kept me in your prayers this weekend on my travels, and to you I say thank you!

Katherine - Portland is a lot of fun, I can see why you'd like to live there!
