...for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge:(Ruth 1-16)

For the past few weeks, we have been wrestling with whether Eddie should follow his job to Kennewick, Washington. Kennewick is on the other side of the state, and the climate is very reminiscent of the area of California we grew up in. For me, the pros are far outweighed by the cons, and I think that Eddie will find a place to work that fits his needs close to home. It came up in discussions today, actually, that perhaps he will decide to go back to school and get his Engineering Degree, which he fabulously put on hold to raise a family.

We have just gotten back from goesting to explore the area. We were able to see the beautiful Columbia River, be bedazzled by the heat, look at homes, and get a feel for the area. If we moved, we would be close to Papa Herman and Belladonna, and I look forward to meeting both of them.

The decision has to be made by the end of this week, so if you'd keep us in your prayers, we'd greatly appreciate it. And, if you have words of wisdom, please pass them along!

Wow, that's a big decision to make. No words of wisdom from me, I just hope you'll make the best decision for your family. Of course, we know that we can be happy anywhere, if we put our minds to it!

Jennifer from veganlunchbox also lives in Kennewick. I'm sure she'd be happy to share sources of great vegetarian food!

You have our prayers. Of course, one distinct drawback is the greater distance to Powells Books - tee hee.

Not sure if you've made a decision yet, but I'll keep your family in my prayers regardless. These types of decisions are so momentous!

My DH is a mechanical engineer--what type of engineering degree would your DH be getting? It would be so cool for him to go back and finish!

My grandparents live in Richland - one of the "other" tricities with kennewick and pasco. I say, if you can handle the weather and the "beauty," go for it. It's a fast developing part of the state (one of the fastest). It's a nice place to visit (although I wouldn't want to live there...).
