Tenika's latest challenge is to show your scrap space. Now, another challenge was no cleaning so here you see my lovely desk (which is an old drafting table borrowed from Eddie) that I scrap on. You can't see but I have a pad of paper for scrapping on that I can doodle, stamp on, and blot on and then rip off one page. My Fiskars cutter is to the right, and the baskets hold various and assorted things (one is the pile of ideas I've ripped from magazines). You can also see it's right next to the television so I can watch Mariners games while I scrap. The computer is to the right so the hubby and the kids can be with me. Another thing you may notice is the lack of a chair - I ususally stand while scrapping. Posted by Hello

My amazing and wonderful woodworking husband made this scrap cabinet for me. On the left are drawers, on the right are slide out shelves. Poor guy, when I finished loading it, I turned to him and said: over here is where I'll keep the bookshelf. He was horrified all my "scrap crap" wouldn't fit in there.Posted by Hello

Eddie is a bit flummoxed as to why he built me slide out shelves for paper, and I use it for stamp storage. I'll get in to where I store my paper in a minute, but may I say I love storing my stamps on slide out shelves. I keep them sorted by kind and in large ziplock bags. I just pull out the theme of stamps I want to use and then slide them back in when I'm done. Posted by Hello

Someday this will be a bookcase. Right now, it's where I keep my vertical 12x12 paper storage, scraps in an accordian file, card package, magazines, albums of in progress pages, and on the top, extra photos that I've scrapped, negatives and in the basket - all my stickers, alphabet stickers and rub-ons, ephemera, etc. in ziplock baggies inside file folders. My small embellishments are in cropper hopper embellishent boxes inside one of the drawers. Posted by Hello

The top of the cabinet - I keep tools in the cup, and baskets that have old fashioned clothespins with ribbons, a basket of paints, a MM box with fibers, a basket with watch tins filled with brads, eyelets, etc and my rubons. Once I get two more 12x12 vertical holders (any suggestions for a good place to get them?) the 12x12 paper will be moved. I keep papers "to file" here as well as my 8.5x11.Posted by Hello

Whoa girl! You are one serious scrapper. All my stuff fits in a large suitcase type thingy with pockets for the scissors, etc., etc. I do more crosstitch, well...at least I used to...and paint watercolors. I'll have to take pictures and post them.

Way cool on the multiple photo thing in one blog. Thanks for the email. I shall have to give it a shot. You are AMAZING!!!!!

Thanks!

Philippa - I can't take credit for the "how to" on the photos, the friend (Tenika) who issues the challenges weekly is the one who patiently explained it to me. I just passed it along!

It all fits in one suitcase? Wow! You are an organized scrapper!
