Well, How Can You Argue With That? Yesterday, I fielded a call from a buyer who was very insistant that she live in the city limits of Olympia. Her price range and needs, and her aversion to septic systems made this difficult, and so I kept trying to explain the Tumwater/Lacey options and she kept resisting. She didn't have a specific school district need, and I finally asked her why she needed to be in Olympia. Her response? Well, we were transfered to Olympia
Flight Lessons by Patricia Gaffney I enjoy this author a lot, I've read a couple of her other books. What was interesting to me about this book was it explored estrangement between a niece and her aunt. This was an interesting plot point, but what I enjoyed best about it was there was no blow out scene where they hashed out everything, as has become the norm. Instead, the niece just grew in her understanding of the issues surrounding the estrangement, and the rift was healed. This reflects more my experience - I'm not a blow out kind of person, a realization where I'm wrong, couple with the necessary step of a good Confession, and I'm ready to move forward.
